The initial number of tags displayed limits how many tags appear when a page first loads. Tags beyond that limit appear when a customer selects the Show all button.
Prerequisite: The initial number of tags displayed is available on the Regular plan. Use the "Tag list (Regular Plan)" app block.
The following image compares an unset initial display count with a value of 5.

When the initial display count is 5, only five tags appear at first. The remaining tags appear after the Show all button is selected.
(1) Open the applicable template
From Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize and open the product, collection, blog, or blog post template you want to configure.
(2) Select the Regular-plan app block
Select "Tag list (Regular Plan)" from the left menu in the theme editor.
(3) Locate "Initial number of tags displayed"
Locate "Initial number of tags displayed" in the app block settings. The following image shows a value of 3.
(4) Enter the number of tags to display initially
In "Initial number of tags displayed," enter the number of tags to display when the page first loads using half-width digits.
(5) Set the Show all button label
In "Show all button," enter the label for the button that displays the remaining tags.
(6) Save the setting
Select "Save" in the upper-right corner of the theme editor.
Sets the maximum number of tags displayed when the page first loads. If left blank, all tags appear immediately.
This button appears when the actual number of tags exceeds the initial display count. Configure its label under "Show all button" and its color under "Color | Show all button." The default label is "Show all."
Note: The Show all button does not appear when the actual number of tags is less than or equal to the initial display count.
Prerequisite: The initial number of tags displayed is configured separately for each template. Configure it in each applicable "Tag list (Regular Plan)" app block.
