RuffRuff Tags Help Center

Display Different Tags by Language

Use Shopify Translate & Adapt to show different tags for each language.

Assign both Japanese and English tags to products or blog posts.

By translating the app block settings in Shopify Translate & Adapt, you can switch displayed tags according to the language selected in the store.

Prerequisite: Language-specific tag display requires the RuffRuff Product & Blog Tags Regular plan and Shopify Translate & Adapt.

Use excluded tags or priority tags according to how you manage tags.

Use excluded tags when there are few tags to exclude or when new tags that are not registered as priority tags should also appear.

Use priority tags when you need strict control over displayed tags or there are many tags to exclude.

When using excluded tags, add the new tag in the other language to "Exclude tags" in both the theme editor and the Shopify Translate & Adapt translation field.

When using priority tags, add the new tag you want to display to "Priority tags" in both the theme editor and the Shopify Translate & Adapt translation field.

It can be used on product, collection, blog, and blog post templates where the "Tag list (Regular Plan)" app block can be added.
