Changes Not Reflected in the Tag List

Check saving, setting priority, the theme, and the template when changes do not appear.

If setting changes do not appear in the tag list, check whether you saved them on the page where they were made, whether the Regular-plan app block takes priority, and whether you are viewing the correct theme and template.

The page where you save depends on where the setting was changed.

  • If you changed it on the Customization page: Select "Save" on the Customization page.

  • If you changed it in an app block: Select "Save" in the upper-right corner of the theme editor.

Prerequisite: Settings in a Regular-plan app block take priority over shared settings on the Customization page.

On a page with a Regular-plan app block, changing the Customization page does not affect a setting that is also defined in the app block. Check the app block settings on the applicable page.

App block settings are saved separately for each theme and template. Confirm that the theme you changed is the same theme you are checking in the online store.

If the theme contains multiple templates, confirm that the template you changed is assigned to the applicable product, collection, blog, or blog post.

After saving the setting, reload the applicable page. If the previous display remains, also check the page in an incognito or private window.

If the issue persists after checking the items above, contact us through the contact form.

Include the following information with your inquiry.

  • URL of the page where you changed the setting

  • Theme and template names

  • Setting that was changed

  • Screenshots of the settings page and the result in the online store

  • Items you have already checked
