On collection and blog pages, you can choose Single or Multiple. With multiple selection, only products or posts that have every selected tag are displayed.
Prerequisite: Tag selection mode is available on the Light plan and higher. It applies to collection and blog pages.
Customers can select one tag at a time. Selecting another tag clears the previous selection.
Customers can select multiple tags at the same time. Multiple selection filters using an AND condition.
For example, if "Red" and "Shirt" are selected, only products with both tags are displayed.
Limitation: OR conditions are not supported. If no product or post has every selected tag, the filter returns no results.
Single selection: Best when customers browse by switching between individual categories.
Multiple selection: Best when customers combine several conditions to narrow the results.
Use single selection if selecting multiple tags frequently produces no results.
(1) Open "Settings"
From the left menu in RuffRuff Product & Blog Tags, open "Settings."
(2) Select a tag selection mode
Under "Tag selection mode," select "Single" or "Multiple."
(3) Save the setting
Select "Save."
(1) Open the applicable template
From Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes → Customize and open a collection or blog template.
(2) Select the Regular-plan app block
Select the "Tag list (Regular Plan)" app block.
(3) Select a tag selection mode
Select "Single" or "Multiple."
(4) Save the setting
Select "Save" in the upper-right corner of the theme editor.
Regular-plan app block settings take priority over shared settings on the Customization page.
Select an active tag again to clear its filter. If a clear button is displayed, customers can also clear the tag using that button.
