You can add it to four page types: blog posts, blogs, products, and collections. All require an Online Store 2.0 (OS 2.0) compatible theme.
No. The tag list is displayed using Shopify's app block feature, so no files are added to your theme and no existing code is modified.
App block placement is saved per theme. If you switch to (publish) a different theme that does not have the app block added, the tag list will not appear. Please add the app block again on the new theme. Note that duplicating a theme also copies the placement, so no re-setup is needed. Your settings-page design settings are kept regardless of the theme.
The most common causes are: the app block has not been added or is disabled, no tags have been set on your products or articles, or your theme does not support OS 2.0. For details, see Tag List Not Displaying.
You can control this using the Initial Display Count setting, available on the Regular plan and above. For details, see Set the Initial Number of Tags Displayed.
The Show all button only appears when the number of tags on the page exceeds the initial count. Please check that the actual number of tags on your products or articles is greater than the value you have set.
The initial number of tags displayed is an app block setting and must be configured separately for each template. Please set it individually in each template (blogs, collections, products, and blog posts).
No. On product and blog post pages, clicking a tag navigates to a new page, so the tag selection mode does not apply. This setting is available on blogs and collection pages only. For details, see Change the Tag Selection Mode.
Use "Multiple" if you want visitors to combine multiple conditions when filtering. Use "Single" for a simpler experience where one category is shown at a time.
You can specify tags to hide using the Exclude tags feature. In addition to exact match, you can exclude tags in bulk using prefix, suffix, or partial matching. For details, see Configure on the Settings Page.
With Priority tags (Light plan and above), you can pin specified tags to the top and control their order. For details, see Set Priority Tags.
By combining the Regular plan with Shopify Translate & Adapt, you can switch which tags are displayed based on the visitor's language. For details, see Display Tags by Language.
A Regular plan subscription is required. By using the app block available exclusively on the Regular plan, you can apply a different design for each template. For details, see Configure with App Blocks (Regular Plan Only).
The app block settings take priority. On pages where an app block is placed, the customization page settings are overridden.
After saving, your browser may be serving a cached version of the page. Try a hard reload (Cmd+Shift+R on Mac / Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows). For more details, see Changes Not Reflected in the Tag List.
The branding (RuffRuff Apps by Tsun) is automatically hidden when you are on the Light plan or higher.
